Antisemitism is rife across every significant social media platform, and sites such as TikTok and Instagram are introducing teenagers to such hate content, research has found.

The group Hope Not Hate, which campaigns against racism, said it was simply astounding that it could not find a single social media platform where antisemitism was not easily accessible.

The group, which looked at nine sites, said that young people were being introduced to antisemitic ideas that they were unlikely to encounter elsewhere. It highlighted the role of TikTok and Instagram in introducing a “new generation of social media users” to hateful content about Jewish people.
