In the House of Lords this afternoon, 11 peers from all major parties questioned the Government on its failure to legally recognise humanist marriages in England and Wales
The government will also consider the recommendations from a Law Commission review into marriage, to be published in July. The report is looking at how to modernise marriage law, including widening the range of locations and whether more types of weddings should be legalised.
