Hong Kong residents fleeing communist oppression are to be given an introduction to life in the UK by members of the Free Church of Scotland.

The Presbyterian denomination, whose heartland is the Western Isles, is gearing up to welcome migrants from the former British colony who have been displaced by Beijing’s erosion of human rights and democracy.
